The athletic complex includes the Tootell Physical Education Center, which houses two gymnasiums, weight rooms and three swimming and diving pools for use by the University's student-athletes and the campus community.

Other University outdoor athletic facilities include the URI Softball Complex, URI Field Hockey Complex, URI Tennis Complex, an outdoor track, tennis courts and a field for use by the recreation department and the school intramural programs.
